Primary Nutrients

A plant requires around 18 nutrients which are essential for plant growth and development. These nutrients have been classified into Primary, Secondary, and Micronutrients. The nutrients that are primary growth inhibitors and control vital plant processes are known as Primary Nutrients.  Plants require a large quantity of these nutrients for growth and proper functioning. Usually, they obtain these nutrients either from soil or air through various biological processes which may not sufficient for their proper growth and may result in deficiencies. To avoid these deficiencies, these nutrients are supplemented in plants by the use of IFFCO’s Fertilizers.

NPK 12-32-16

NPK 12-32-16 is a DAP based composite fertiliser and is produced at IFFCOs Kandla unit along with NPK 12-32-16.

NPK 12-32-16 fixes the phosphorus and potassium content in the soil and is highly effective in soils with leaching condition. The product is granular and comes in moisture resistant HDP bags allowing easy handling and storage.

Neem Coated Urea (N)

Urea is a source of Nitrogen, an essential nutrient crucial for crop growth and development. Urea is the most important nitrogenous fertilizer in the country because of its high N content (46%N). It also has industrial applications such as the production of plastics and as a nutritional supplement for cattle.

DAP 18-46-0

IFFCO's DAP (Diammonium phosphate) is a concentrated phosphate-based fertilizer. Phosphorus is an essential nutrient along with Nitrogen and plays a vital role in the development of new plant tissues and the regulation of protein synthesis in crops.

NP(S) 20-20-0-13

IFFCO manufactures NP Grade 20-20-0-13, An Ammonium Phosphate Sulphate Fertiliser. Besides two macro-nutrients (Nitrogen and Phosphorus), it provides Sulphur which is an essential nutrient essential for the growth of plants and aids in chlorophyll synthesis. The NP(S) 20-20-13 has been formulated considering the nutrient requirement of soils with low labile phosphorus, high potassium, and low labile sulphur.
