IFFCO and Congelados de Navarra (CN Corp.), Spain have promoted a Joint Venture Company “CN IFFCO Private Limited” for setting up a Vegetable Processing Project in District Ludhiana, Punjab which aims to reduce the wastage of perishable agri-produce and improve income of farmers. IFFCO and CN Corp hold 40% and 60% equity respectively in the Company.

CN Corp. is a leading frozen company in Europe engaged in the production and marketing of wide range of high quality frozen vegetables & food products globally.

The Project will have facilities to process wide range of Individual Quick Freezing (IQF) vegetables e.g. Broccoli, Cauliflower, Carrot, Green peas, Sweet Corn, Beans etc. It will engage with around 5,000 farmers for supply of raw materials through backward integration. The Project is expected to be completed by the year 2023.
